Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a new theatre company. From 2014 through 2019she was the artistic director for the Seoul Shakespeare Company. When she was the Artistic Director of SSC she also served as the company's producer costume/set designer composer/music director and text coach. Although she was usually the head of her group, her first directing role was in SSC King Lear.
